The fourth of Crockett's Almanacks with wild stories of the west, and illustrations to match. This issue includes woodcuts of, "A Woman rescued from the Jaws of a Catamount," "A Kentuckian kivered up in a Salt Crib," "A Fight with a Bear," "A Narrow Escape from a Snake," "A Fight between two Women, a Man, and two Bears," and other perils of the frontier.
