[and] America, India mitit ebur, molles sua thura sabei; Ast aurum tellus ditior ista parit , an allegorical etching of America personified engraved by Jean Auguste Renard (1744-1807) after Giacomo Amiconi (1682-1752), some foxing and toning, 21 x 16 1/4 in.
