To Frederick George Payne (1904-1978), Governor of Maine, declining an invitation to attend the Snow White Coronation Ball at the Somerset Hotel in Boston on 23 February 1952. Old folds, some toning, pencil notes, a spot or two, stapled to the envelope, 10 1/2 x 7 1/4 in.
