Stained maple and birch tripod candlestand, probably Mount Lebanon, New York, ca. 1830 , the round top supported by a typical chamfered cleat, delicate turned tapering shaft and tripod base with pad feet, 24" h., 16 3/4" dia. A nearly identical example was sold at Skinner's, November 2008, lot 202.
