A pair of Frank Zappa images. The first is a color image of Zappa on stage, from Zappa’s Roxy Theatre performances in 1973, that went on to become the album cover for Roxy & Elsewhere ( discreet , 1974 ). The edges are cut to resemble a strip of film . Affixed to black foam - core board . Signed to the lower right . The second is a color portrait photograph of Zappa taken by Sherwin Tilton in 1974 that was later used for the cover of the Frank Zappa / the mothers of invention album Roxy by Proxy (Zappa records, 2014).
