Mahogany slant front desk, L 18th E 19th C, with mostly yellow pine secondary, made in or around Harrisonburg Virginia, has a fitted interior, unusual lift and slide prospect door over four graduated drawers, original brass pulls which are consistent with the period of time, shaped apron, splay feet, brass escutcheon cover to the slant front and cockbead molding to the drawer fronts; measures approximately 43" high, 43-7/8" wide and 21-13/16" in depth. Original key is included. Some repairs, consistent with age and usage. Consigned by a Shenandoah, Virginia estate.
