Silver Luckenbooth Brooch, mid-19th century, designed as two crowned hearts and thistles centering a "M" monogram, wd. 2 1/2 in. Note: Lots 133 through 229 are property from the Nancy and Gilbert Levine collection, donated to the Toledo Museum of Art and sold to benefit its future acquisitions. The collection formed the Museum of Arts and Sciences travelling exhibition "A Century of Jewelry & Gems: 1785-1885" which was accompanied by a published catalogue in 1995.
