Chinese School, early 20th century. "Courtly Procession on Horseback", ink and pigment on paper, many red seal marks along left, top, and right edges. Horizontal scroll painting depicting many courtly figures on horseback riding from left to right with women and children on the horses to rear of procession and young and older men on the horses to front, each horse with an ornamented saddle blanket and many with red feathery ornaments at their throat, the painting to a cream silk surround. Overall approximately 71.75" long, 24.25".
