Nephrite Jade Pendant, China, rectangular form with lobed edges, decorated with three carved lambs and a bat on one side, the top surmounted with a carved ruyi cloud design, with a knotted string with a russet glass bead, with a box with G. T. Marsh mark to the cover interior, pendant ht. 2 3/8, wd. 1 1/2 in. Provenance: Acquired from G.T. Marsh & Co., San Francisco, by a friend of Lucien Marsh, and then by family descent to the current New England owner.
