Glazed Earthenware Cup, China, Tang dynasty, the tall cup standing on a splayed hollow foot supporting the rounded base, the slightly bowed sides constricting toward the everted rim, the exterior decorated with a series of concentric incised lines covered in a rich amber glaze, the interior with less prominent concentric rings decorated with a deep green glaze that is splashed over the exterior, ht. 3 1/16 in.
