Two Tin-glazed Earthenware Chinoiserie-decorated Plates, England, c. 1750, possibly Bristol, each with manganese and blue, one rim-to-rim decorated with Chinaman seated under a tree by a bank and fenced landscape; another with alternating lattice and bamboo plants, the leaves additionally in green and yellow, surrounding a central figure of a courtesan holding a fan and standing beneath an arched bamboo tree; each dia. 8 7/8 in.
