circa 1768, possibly from the louis-charles-auguste le tonnelier service each painted with a study of birds in a landscape within bleu celeste borders having three floral cartouches each joined by gilt garlands. Diameter 9 5/8 inches. Property from a Chicago Collector, Formerly of Lake Forest, Illinois Good condition without chips, cracks or restoration. Areas of overpainted/retouched gilt. Scratches, dirt and residue consistent with age Examination under UV light did not reveal any condition issues. One plate incised CT. Additional photos available upon request.
