Pavel Kovalievski (Russian, 1843-1903), patinated bronze figural sculpture depicting a Bacchanalian nude wingless cherub or putto with short curled hair, canteen on hip with straps over one shoulder, grape cluster and leaf vine form garland and cheerful facial expression. Putto holding a cup at top (likely missing top portion) with other arm extended, standing barefoot on integral circular naturalistic base, incised on side with signature with artist name with spelling variation. Figure raised on black cylindrical base with red marble socle base surmounting black disc foot with gilt border. Overall approximate height 13.5".
