19th century having a rounded back with carved giltwood arms and an everted end, raised on slightly splayed tapering legs. Length 73 inches. Appears to date to mid- or second half of 19th century. Age cracks, scuffs, wear and surface dirt consistent with age. Overpainted gilt in some areas and a few chips/loosened parts to giltwood arms.
