Chinese, late 19th/ early 20th century Qing Dynasty. A fine Chinese Export porcelain lidded tureen of round form raised on a tall and slightly spreading ring foot and having domical lid with small fu dog finial and metal bale handles to either side of body, with hand painted enamels allover depicting grasshoppers and frogs amid colorful chrysanthemum and peony clusters. Unmarked. Approximate overall height 7", width over handles 8.75", diameter of opening 8.125".
