Mt. Washington (American, 1837-1894) and Acme Silver Company (Canada, 1885-1893), last quarter 19th century. A fine Victorian brides basket bowl, square form hand blown pink cut over white having a crimped and ruffled rim, decorated with flowers and pairs of opposing griffins flanking urns fitted in an Acme quadruple silver plate twin handled frame with apple tree and aesthetic designs. Marked to the underside The Acme Silver Co Quadruple Plate Toronto 445". Glass bowl apparently unmarked. Approximate height of silver stand 8.37", width 9.25".
