19th century worked to the front showing a sinuous five-clawed dragon in profile above a pair of confronting dragons pursuing the flaming pearls amongst clusters of auspicious clouds and ribbon-tied Buddhist emblems, all above mountain peaks and precious objects emerging from foaming waves and multi-colored lishui strips, against a chestnut color ground, the cuffs embroidered with flying cranes and floral decoration on an ivory ground. Length 32 1/2 inches. Overall decent condition with no major tears. Moderate wear throughout. Some loose gilt wrapped threads. Some soiling and stains to the cuffs. The right cuff with two areas of embroidy detached. Light soiling to the interior lining. Three metal buttons presents, two closures worn.
