qing dynasty each of rectangular form, depicting a shaped panel enclosing a mountainous riverscape filled with figures in houses, leafy trees and bridges and clouds in the distance, circled by a gilt highlighted border against a bright lime-green ground densely incised with foliate patterns, mounted in a hardwood frame surmounted by a metal handle. 20 3/4 x 15 inches. Each plaque in overall good condition with no visible chips, hairlines or restoration. Some rubbing of the glaze and minor stains. One perfectly fitted in the frame. The other frame broken, on the reverse of the plaque a 2 inch by 2 inch loss to a section of the porcelain, not affecting the image on the front of the plaque.
