Chanel Haute Couture, 1963, with a silk underskirt with a sequin embellished hem and a sequin top overlay. The fabric is by Maison Marescot. Dress labeled: Chanel. Purchased at the Didier Ludot Sotheby's Paris Auction, Lot 1. Under-dress with paneled blue moir� bodice has perspiration stains at the underarms. Shoulder straps are slightly soiled in appearance and have slight wear at the seams. The blue moir� ribbons at the back of the skirt are slightly soiled in appearance., possibly mildew. The sequined over-bodice exterior is good but perspiration stains at underarms. Matching silk waist slip with sequined hem is good condition . There are a few areas of sequin flattening/compromise, one area on the over bodice and one area on the waist slip hem. Additional photos available upon request.
