Harris to William Jackson, Portland, Maine, April 10, 1866, issued by a teacher at the Portland Institute, designed as two perched peafowl above the inscriptions below, indicating that the student, William Jackson, received "Perfect Marks," was "a very obedient little boy," and "merits the love of his teacher," (moisture stains and small tear l.r.), 10 x 10 in., in a period rosewood-grained frame.
