French. 19th cent. The dial surrounded by putti above garlands, the case with a mask and foliage and an urn. Height 84 1/2". Rare Louis XIV style bronze ormaleau cartel with chime clock. Signed Vincenti 1855 on works. This clock is after the 1785 model attributed Jean Henri Riesener currently housed in the Louvre. (7000/9000)
