Sold for:
$75

19th century the tray of shaped form, painted to show figures in an architectural landscape and fitted for two floral painted inkwells. Width 10 1/2 inches. Property from the Estate of Rita Dee Hassenfeld, Palm Beach, Florida The mark on the platter is first quality, the marks (if any) on the inkwells are covered by metal mounts. A difference in the decorative painting on the inkwells in comparison to the tray suggests a marriage of parts. One cover having a few frets to the rim. A 5" fracture from the right of the handle towards the painted cartouche having glue residue and two staple repairs to the underside.
