An oak Queen Anne tall back necessary chair, with a serpentine crest rail, a pierced back splat, scrolled arms, a hinged caned seat, and scalloped skirt, resting on cabriole legs terminating in pad feet. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 51.75", width 25", seat depth 18", seat to floor 18". Provenance: Estate Antiques, Inc., 155 King Street, Charleston, SC 29401.
