Chinese, 20th century. Flambe glazed porcelain ginger jar with fitted circular lid with rounded knob handle on top of rounded body of standard form. Unmarked. Vessel supported on an ornately carved wood stand with scrolling and auspicious symbols, underside marked with numerous obscured characters in gilt. Overall (including stand) height 10.3", diameter of bottom 5.5".
