Italian, 20th/21st century. A large hand painted majolica pottery floor vase or urn of trophy form with applied figural harpy handles to either side of shoulder, the bulbous body painted to one side with elaborate farm landscape with mountains to background, and to other side with a figural courting scene set in similar landscape, the incurvate neck and base of urn with bellflower and foliate decoration, overall in tones of purple, pink, blue, and yellow. Unmarked. Approximate height 27.75", width over handles 16.5", diameter of foot 7.75".
