Mies can der Rohe (German, 1886-1969) for KnollStudio (American, New York, 1938-), designed circa 1927. Set of six "MR" chairs, each with a cantilevered tubular polished chrome frame, black cowhide belting leather laced sling seat and backs, and molded clear plastic guides with twin-pin snap-in construction. Each stamped "KnollStudio" with Mies van der Rohe signature. Approximate height 31.5", width 29", seat depth 14.3", seat to floor 17.5".
