Continental, likely Italian, 19th century. A Baroque style oak and giltwood accent or coffee table, having a round top, carved and decorated with gilded gesso acanthus leaves and a molded edge, resting on a tripartite pedestal base, composed of three carved C-scroll legs, each accented with gilded gesso rocaille, beading, and cross hatching. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 20.5", diameter 29.25".
