A pair of carved oak wood table lamps comprising 19th century carved figural sculptures each depicting a peasant or traveler with cape over short pants with wine flask to side, the figures each raised on a later stepped square base mounted with tubular shaft at back issuing a single socket and and hand painted vellum style shade. Unmarked. Overall approximate height 19.75", diameter of shade 11.125", base width 4.625", base depth 5.5".
