Joe (Joseph John) Jones (American, 1909-1963) Still Life with Vegetables on a Pedestal Table . Signed and dated "Joe Jones 45" l.r., identified on a label from the Pasadena Art Museum, Pasadena, California, affixed to the frame backing paper. Mixed media on paper, sight size 24 x 17 1/2 in., framed. Condition: Not examined out of frame. N.B. The Pasadena Art Museum label referenced above bears the accession number 54.38.1. There is a second label that is stamped "DEACCESSIONED Sep-3 1969" also affixed to the frame backing paper, and although the second label does not specifically mention the museum, it is assumed to be related.
