late 19th century the hinged lid surmounted by a bird perched on a branch, the case similarly worked and raised on floral blossom decorated feet. Length 12 inches. Property from the Collection of Valdas Shyapkus, Chicago, Illinois In decent, stable condition. Lid opens and closes smoothly, having lock but no key. Most carvings appear intact, but bird to top lacking one wing. Some other scattered minor chips/losses.
