in a black lacquered case with an associated bench. Length 83 1/2 inches. Property from the Collection of Dr. Walter Garst, Miami, Florida Case in fair condition, but in need of refinishing. Approximately 20 keys are slightly stuck and this may be due to some warping of the key, or the hammer arms. The piano had been stored in a non-climate controlled and fairly humid environment, resulting in visible traces and odor of mildew to the case AND to the interior/soundboard. Few visible areas of minor splits to the soundboard. Note: the length on this piano is 6 feet 11 inches making it a Model B "Classic Grand." Serial number is 323492 dating it to 1947.
