18th Century the larger example lidded and having a finial in the form of a putto's head, both engraved with mermaids brandishing swords and having applied dolphin handles. marked on foot rim 18 ozt 6 dwt Height of taller 6 3/4 inches. In overall decent, stable condition. Moderate surface scratching throughout consistent with polishing and use. Interiors dirty. Engraving possibly later. Each having a silver purity test scratch to foot. Smaller creamer with small indent to body. Area of possible repair to spout on larger creamer. Putto head finial possibly associated.
