20th century of oval form, painted to show a highly realistic botanical specimen, the underside with the underglaze blue waves mark and the Royal Copenhagen transfer printed mark. Width 20 1/2 inches. Property from the Estate of Rita Dee Hassenfeld, Palm Beach, Florida In good, stable and complete condition. Scattered, minor instances of surface scratches to the painted leaves. Minor accumulation of an adhesive substance to the white ground. Scattered areas of grime accumulation to the white ground among the white flowers. Light wear to the gilt highlights. Examination under UV light reveals no evidence of restoration or repair.
