Fate La Carrita, depicting a beggar boy, the pedestal with gilt bronze mounts. Height of figure 27 1/2 inches. Property from the Collection of Dr. Walter Garst, Miami, Florida The figure's outstretched right hand showing restoration to the fingers and above the wrist. The dangling left foot also show repairs across the foot, and possibly above the ankle. The socle shows areas of restored chips, and the patina of it is slightly different from the figure, suggesting a possible marriage or perhaps heavy restoration. The pedestal is overall decent and stable with areas of fretting and wear consistent with heavy use.
