An ivory silk waistcoat woven with a gold lamé foliate pattern made for the character of Jeremy Fox in the film Moonfleet (MGM, 1955). The waistcoat has gilt buttons with faceted glass and is inscribed "S.Granger dbl." Stewart Granger wears a waistcoat of the same fabric with a varying foliate pattern for an extended scene in the film. Costume design by Walter Plunkett. The waistcoat was acquired at the David Weisz Co. MGM Auction after sale in 1970. Accompanied by a copy of the film. EST. $300-500 Categories: Jeremy Fox
