Provenance: Through the family of Steven First of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. N.B. This work will be included in the Reuven Rubin catalogue raisonné, in preparation by the Rubin Museum in Tel Aviv. Carmela Rubin has dated the work to the late 1960s or early 1970s.
