Silver and Amber Master Brooch, Georg Jensen, designed as foliate and bud motifs set with and suspending amber cabochons and drops, with green agate cabochons, no. 96, 3 3/4 x 2 1/4 in., signed GEORG JENSEN S826 G with superimposed J, and Gi, Denmark. Note: Pictured in Georg Jensen: A Tradition of Splendid Silver , by Janet Drucker, p. 95. Drucker explains that brooch no. 96 is "referred to as a 'master brooch' ...because it is larger than most other brooches and probably took more time to complete."
