Federal Mahogany Banjo Timepiece, Massachusetts, c. 1815, the case with brass bezel enclosing an iron painted dial and eight-day brass weight-driven movement with "T" bridge escapement above the tapering throat and pendulum box with eglomise tablets depicting a naval battle with the "Constitution" and "Guerriere," flanking a gilt reserve entitled "HULL" for Isaac Hull, framed by cross-banded moldings and flanked by pierced brass side pieces, (restoration), ht. 33 1/4 in.
