Group of Paper Ephemera of Local Interest, relating to the child's verse "Mary's Little Lamb" and it's author, Mary E. Sawyer, of Sterling, Massachusetts; included is a frame from a later date containing the handwritten verse, a photograph of Mary E. Sawyer Tyler, a knitted fragment from the first fleece of the lamb and dated "Somerville Massachusetts, November, 1883," several newspaper accounts pertaining to the story of Mary, her lamb, and the ultimate location of the little red schoolhouse near the Wayside Inn in Sudbury, Massachusetts.
