Classical Mahogany Veneer Carved Card Table, attributed to the firm of Isaac Vose (1767-1823) and Isaac Vose Jr. (1794-1872), Boston, 1819-24, the rectangular top with beaded edges above the skirt with a recessed panel, C-scrolls and carved volutes over a tapering pedestal accented by carved leafage above a serpentine veneered platform with carved and scrolled feet on castors, old refinish, (imperfections), ht. 28 1/2, wd. 37, dp. 17 1/2 in. N.B. This is a regional expression whose attribution is based on a very similar labeled example.
