American Pewter Sugar Bowl with Cover, Thomas Danforth Boardman, Hartford, Connecticut, 1805-50, touchmark example, Jacobs no. 39, the flattened ball-form decorated with chased foliate decoration around the belly, with "S" scroll handles, the lid may be mismatched, (interior pitting), ht. 5 3/4 in.
