Lyre-form Gilded Zinc and Iron Church Weather Vane, probably Harris & Co. , Boston, mid-19th century, the rod with two belted ball finials mounted to the horizontal scroll and lyre-form weather vane terminating in a floral and scrolled cast zinc device with three ball finials, old surface, ht. 55, lg. 72 in. Provenance: This weather vane was from the Fourth Congregational Church, in North Abington, Massachusetts, and was purchased at auction there in the 1960s.
