Marshall S. Bidwell, Jr. (American, 19th Century) Bidwell Homestead Portrait and Related Materials. Signed and dated "1859." Watercolor on paper, sight size 7 5/8 x 11 1/4 in., matted and framed. Condition: Good, not examined out of frame. Sold with eight related items including a silhouette of a young Marshall Bidwell, two photographs of the Bidwell home, two watercolor paintings on paper purportedly painted by Marshall Bidwell Jr., one depicting a child leaning on a fence entitled "The Infant Lounger," indistinctly signed, framed, the other depicting a man pulling a woman in a cart, and a brief written history of the Bidwell family and the history of family album quilters, a genealogy of the Bidwell family, and a copy of a newspaper article referring to the first minister in Monterey, Massachusetts, Adonijah Bidwell.
