Chippendale Tiger Maple Carved Tall Chest, Rhode Island, 1770-90, the flaring cornice molding forming a tray top above six graduated thumb-molded drawers, the top one is visually divided into three sections with the central section featuring a fan, above a molded base with a central drop pendant on four high bracket feet with shaped spurs, mostly original brass, early surface, (imperfections), ht. 58 1/4, wd. 36, wd. at top 40 1/4, dp. 17 1/4 in.
