Elisabeth Blackwell (British, 18th Century) Lot of Four Plates from A CURIOUS HERBAL, published in two volumes, 1737-1739: The Fig Tree, Guinea Pepper, The Duck's Meat, and The Sloe-tree. Each identified within the plates and on labels from Goodspeed's, Boston, on the reverse. Engraving with hand-coloring (possibly later) on paper, plate sizes approximately 11 3/4 x 7 3/4 in., framed. Condition: Some with minor foxing and or staining, not examined out of frames.
