George Harvey (1800-1878, ac. 1827-1845) Miniature Portrait of a Lady in Burgundy Wearing a Lace Bonnet. Signed "G. HARVEY" l.r. Watercolor on ivory, 3 1/2 x 2 3/4 in., in a hinged red leather case with ormolu mat. Condition: Good, leather loss on case. N.B. George Harvey was born in Tottingham, England, and came to America in 1820. In 1828 he was elected an associate of the National Academy of Design.
