Federal Cherry Tall Case Clock, Joseph Mulliken, Concord, Massachusetts, c. 1800-10, the hood with pierced fretwork joining square plinths and brass ball finials above the arched cornice molding, the iron painted tombstone dial with bird and floral designs inscribed "J. Mulliken Concord" encloses an eight-day weight-driven movement, all flanked by free-standing reeded columns, the waist with molded rectangular door flanked by reeded quarter columns on base with inlaid stringing joining corner quarter fans on flat molding, (imperfections, lacks hood door and feet), ht. 88 3/4 in.
