Federal Giltwood and Mahogany Eglomise Banjo Timepiece, probably Massachusetts, c. 1825, the eagle and shield finial above the mahogany and giltwood case with brass bezel, convex painted dial enclosing an eight-day weight-driven movement over the glass throat panel with gilt scroll and lower panel showing a sea battle, both framed by gilt spiral moldings and flanked by brass side arms, (restorations), ht. 33 3/4 in.
