Early Adding Machine, probably early 19th century, indistinctly signed on the dial, with simple button-operated spring mechanism, three iron hands and inscribed dial graduated for ones, tens, and hundreds, in red-painted wood case with glazed front door and back door enclosing clearance mechanism, ht. 8 3/4 in. Provenance: Found on a Wisconsin farm.
