Ten Mother of Pearl handled Dental Instruments, mid 19th century, primarily scalers and elevators, nine with carved handles of peacocks, flowers and foliage with inset stones, one with carved serpent handle. Provenance: Probably Dr. W. Page or Dr. Thomas Hitchcock, Professor and Dean of Harvard 1868-74. Two photographs of Dr. Page are included with the lot.
